Each well has a raised rim which nests into the rings on the single direction lid to reduce evaporation and limit the risk of cross contamination. Lids have a stacking feature for added stability when handling tall stacks of plates. Each plate is printed with lot number for easy identification and tracking. Sturdy individual blister pack prevents damage when handling or shipping. Treated cell growth area: 0.1135cm¿/well. RNase/DNase free and non-pyrogenic. Individually packed sterile, 50/case.

These non-pyrogenic plates support the growth of both anchorage-dependent and anchorage-independent cells, including those that are fed at the basolateral surface or in co-culture systems. With a pore density of 2 x 10⁶ pores/cm², these permeable inserts are recommended to culture airway epithelial cells for use in studies related to infectious and genetic disease modeling, drug discovery, toxicity testing, and epithelial cell biology.
